Questions

Frequently asked

Is the 8-hour homebuyer workshop really free?

Yes. Our group 8-hour interactive workshop is offered at no cost and is taught by housing counselors plus mortgage and real estate professionals. You'll receive a HUD certificate upon completion.

What's the difference between the workshop and the eHome course?

The workshop is a live, interactive 8-hour session (held in person at the Delray Beach Marriott). The eHome America course covers the same education on a self-paced, online basis for $99 — ideal if you can't attend a scheduled class. Both lead to a HUD certificate.

Do I need a HUD certificate for down payment assistance?

Most assistance programs in Palm Beach County and Florida require HUD-approved homebuyer education before you apply. Completing our workshop or eHome course satisfies that requirement.

Can you help if I'm behind on my mortgage?

Yes. Our foreclosure prevention counseling helps you understand your options and work with your loan servicer. Reach out as early as possible — the sooner we connect, the more options you'll have.

Do you offer services in Haitian Creole?

Yes — we serve our community in both English and Haitian Creole. Just let us know your preferred language on the intake form.
